I'm a senior studying Computer Science at UT Dallas, and I run an event rental company on the side. Workflowbyte exists because the system I built to run that company turned out to be the thing other owners kept asking about.
Running a service business means the same ten tasks every week: answer the text, write the quote, check the calendar, send the invoice, chase the deposit, ask for the review. I automated mine one piece at a time until the business could take a booking and a payment while I was in class. Now I build the same thing for other people, on the tools they already use.
